Merry Christmas to all members and their families.
Some Reminders
The following members won hams today and need to be at the club after 12 midday on Monday 20th to collect them.
Con Kiayias – full ham
David Garcia – half ham
Stephane Seveque – half ham
Laurie Fogarty – half ham
Vets Christmas BBQ after golf on Monday
Please meet at the course before 7.30 for the 8 am shotgun start.
Cost of the day is $22 and includes a free drink at the end of your round and the BBQ.
Please, for safety reasons, take your clubs to the golf cart rather than your cart to the car.
The first member who pays from each group will be given the cards and beer tickets.
Club Ham deliveries
All members who won a ham in competitions or who have earned prizes through the Monday Vets, and all staff members and shop volunteers, need to be present at the club on Monday to collect them. The club does not have cold storage so it is important that you arrange somebody to pick them up if you cannot attend yourself.
We have been informed by our suppliers that they should arrive about 12 midday.
Handicap grades set to change in the New Year
B grade has grown very large so we will change the cut-off points to increase the sizes of the other grades from January 1.
A Grade – handicaps 15 or less
B Grade – handicaps 16 to 21 inclusive
C Grade – handicaps 22 or more
Nearest the Pin Prizes
Many members have requested that we raise the value of NTP and D&P prizes. From January 1 they will become 3 balls each in Wednesday and Saturday comps.
Larger Prizes in Competitions
We can’t quite say how much yet but what we can say is that all Saturday and Wednesday prizes will increase in value in the new year,
Thanks Dave, I think that an increase in value of prizes is long overdue. I am sure that the members will all appreciate the gesture and they may even indicate their positive approval. Regards Bruce Merry Christmas
