We welcome several new players to the Pennant family as well as the selection of some into new Pennant teams.
For the first time, a female member, Katie Dorahy, will represent in our B pennant team, following on from the newly formed policy of GolfNSW who allow all genders access to Pennant team selections.
I am very excited by the prospects of all teams, which have a smattering of youth and experience, and would not be surprised to see our teams challenging for their respective titles. I am very hopeful the C Pennant can regain the “Town & Country” Cup from Kiama GC.
A Pennant shirt presentation and BBQ will be held in January.

A Pair of Aces of Sorts
Two unique moments were recorded during the Wednesday Par event.
Firstly, Joe Neilson had thought he had scored his first hole in one on the 5th hole. He was disappointed, unfortunately, to find out that the Footgolf holes don’t qualify as official hole in ones.
Secondly Bob Neilson denies that it that was his ball observed stuck in a tree, claiming that in fact a bird had snatched it and deposited it in the knot of the tree. I let the reader decide which is the most likely!
Merry Christmas
