16 & 17 back in action: Handicapping to recommence

Work on the Course has progressed to the point where the 16th and 17th holes will be open for play from Saturday 16th April.

From Saturday, the Club will be running 17 hole competitions using all holes but the 7th. Competition results will be used for handicapping with adjustments made for a course of less than 18 holes, as authorised by Golf Australia.

Our thanks to the ground staff and the band of volunteers who have been working to get the Course back to normal.

Our last major effort will be this coming Thursday, 14th April to clear the debris from between the 2nd and the 17th fairways and we are looking for volunteers to assist with this.

  1. Geoff, I would also like to express my thanks to the ground staff and volunteers who have worked so hard to restore the course to a playable condition. They have done a tremendous amount of work in a relatively short time. Having seen the condition of the course the first few days after the flood, and seeing the changes taking place over the last few weeks, it is really amazing that our course is palyable again in such a short time.
