Much progress has been made by the ground staff with the help of volunteers with clearing the Course since the serious flooding in March.
The Course is now open, and this week 18 hole competitions are being played on a composite course using 10 holes.
From Saturday 9th April, 18 hole competitions will be played on a composite course using 14 holes.
Volunteers have done an excellent job to this point and we are looking for more assistance from volunteers on Monday 11th April and Tuesday 12th April to help with preparing the remaining holes for play – so if you can help, please come along and bring a shovel or a rake.
Geoff Boxsell, Secretary.
My thanks to all the volunteers who have contributed to the clean-up. Your work restoring the course to a playable state is certainly appreciated by the board, and I am sure, by many members of the club. Once again, thank you.
