C Pennant Report: Round 5 Jamberoo V Moss Vale @ St Georges Basin
The 2014 Season ends with a close loss 3/2.
Results this week:
Wins to Tom Zimmermann 4/3 (undefeated this year), Chris Leckey 4/2 and 2nd places to Arthur Bosanquet 2 down, Wayne Griffiths 3/2 and Tony McRae 4/2.
The Jamberoo “C Pennant” team, consisting of Tom Zimmermann, Peter Francis, Arthur Bosanquet, Ron Chilby, Wayne Griffiths, Tony McRae and Chris Leckey have spent their Sundays during February and March competing against Illawarra’s finest. The club should be proud of the way the team competed in what turned out to be one of the strongest events in recent years.
Each player performed strongly and portrayed Jamberoo as a great close knit team who played to win but also to enjoy the sportsmanship and competition.
We will be back next year.
