Rewarded at Last!
Congratulations to Geoff Reynolds who scored his first ever ace today. Geoff’s great achievement came on the 7th after decades of trying with many near misses.
Playing a sweetly hit 8 iron Geoff excited his playing partners, Chilby, Holt, and Poidevin. The great shot was also witnessed by Head Greenkeeper Nick.
Geoff’s name has been entered on the hole-in-one honour roll, and he has been rewarded with 6 golf balls from the club. His prized ball will be mounted onto a permanent trophy to act as a permanent reminder of his perfect shot.

I know the 12th was playing really as a par 4 but to score a 2 is still a great achievement.
Today Terry Sense holed his second shot for a 2 on the par 5. That’s officially an albatross!
It highlighted a great day for Terry where he won the Super Shot, scored 43 points and won the skins from his mates.
