At midday it looked like the course had stood up to the constant showers and was fit for play. The only issue would be if there was to be a massive deluge in the afternoon or overnight.
Well it has happened.
Tomorrow’s competition has been cancelled.
We are disappointed and apologise to our members and guests. Protecting the course must take priority.
Most likely there will similarly be no play Sunday as well.
