Coronation Medal.

The Coronation Medal has become one of NSW Women’s Golf’s most prestigious events. It was donated by the English Ladies Golf Union to celebrate the Coronation of King Edward VII and is an 18-holes stroke handicap competition for teams of four players on handicaps from plus to 20.0.

This year Jamberoo was represented by Elizabeth Armstrong & Pam Middlebrook playing at Moore Park and April van Woerkom & Linda McGlinchey playing at Cromer. The best individual score was Elizabeth Armstrong coming 12th out of 102 golfers. As a team, Jamberoo ran 44/51. It was a great honour to represent our Club and we hope a team can nominate again next year. (It was a great experience for all players).

Many members have taken the opportunity to get a photo with the felled behemoth.
