Dear Jamberoo Golf Club Members, we are excited to announce a special opportunity for our members!
Following the recent visit from Gareth Ward, Independent MP Kiama, Jamberoo Members have been invited to tour Parliament House in Sydney.
This exclusive tour, hosted by Mr Ward himself, will take place on Wednesday September 18th and includes lunch in addition to a Parliamentary sitting commencing at 11am.
We are currently finalising numbers with Mr. Ward’s office and Jamberoo’s Official parliamentary contact is no other than Phil Thompson.
Phil will be coordinating the visit so please ring Phil on 0458 561 001 if you are interested in participating. Please note that only residents of the Kiama electorate can participate.
The following information is needed for security reasons to access Parliament House and will be required to be recorded by Phil,
Name, Address and Phone Number, no later than Wednesday 31st July.
It is suggested that Jamberoo members travel by train meeting together at Kiama station, and alighting at Martin Place, as this gives the easiest access to the ‘power palace’.
This is a fantastic chance to gain insight into the workings of government and enjoy a unique experience with fellow club members as well as appraising and comparing the quality tucker of Phil’s Jamberoo BBQ to the sustained diet of politicians.
