It is with saddest tidings that I inform that John Ellsmore has passed away this afternoon in hospital after a very short illness.
John, a great clubman, well liked and respected by all who knew him will be sadly missed by all his friends. Dedicated to the enhancement of the gardens about the club John was the leader of the gardens team and you can see his handiwork in all the gardens.
He will be sadly missed, RIP.
