15 holes/carts now in play at Jamberoo

I am pleased to announce that we now have 15 holes open and in play and that the use of motorised carts is now allowed in competitions.

The holes will be played in the following order:

1, 2 [from the usual tees as a par 4], 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 [as a par 4 from a forward tee], 13, 14, 15, 17 [as a par 3 from the forward tee] and 18.

The competition fee will be $16 which will include nearest the pins on 7 and 13.

Optional tee up through the green after the club length preferred lie is still in play.

The daily competition will be stroke. Daily handicaps for the comp will be 2/3 of white course handicap [the one printed on the card].

Do not enter scores into the computer. Sign your card and put it in the box please.

Bunkers are in play.

Please do not walk in front of the first tee when traversing to the 6th tee.

The privilege of using motorised carts is extended to members who must ensure that they do not bring the carts through wet areas or near the greens or tees.

  1. So, are the “walkers” going to damage any of the course during a game? I believe that we have been very patient while waiting for the course to be capable of carrying carts.

  2. Thanks to to those members who walked around the course even in those very damp conditions. Your support is appreciated. I don’t think any walkers did any damage.
