Course to re-open Monday -Pennant Semi-finals

The big wet has definitely played havoc but the latest news is that the course will be open on Monday with a composite nine hole course in play.

This will mean that next week’s competitions will be played as scheduled and hopefully some good drying weather will allow our greenstaff to get on the still closed sections and bring them back into play.

Pennant Semi-Finals

Jamberoo was represented at the Golf Illawarra Pennant semi-finals at Kiama Golf Club by all of our 4 teams.

The B Pennant were playing The Links Shell Cove and came away will a big 4-1 victory.

The C Pennant were playing St George’s Basin and were successful 3-2.

The White Horse Cup teams were playing each other for the second year running with both entering the match undefeated. Like last year the match was tied 3-3 leading to the number 1’s Mark Cassel and Greg  Seymour to play off to determine the winner. After 3 extra holes the Cowpats were victorious and progress to the final.

A great day for the club with next week promising more!

The finals will be held at Shoalhaven Heads.
