Course still closed until at least Monday next week.

Despite the best efforts of Martin and his staff and the many volunteers it will be impossible to play golf on our course this week. The course flooded causing serious problems with much debris left behind. With more rain forecast (and falling as I type) next week may yet be in doubt.

On a positive note the greens appear to be intact but it is almost impossible to use the machinery on parts of the course due to the very soft and soggy fairways, greens and surrounds although some cutting was completed today.

A big thank you to our worthy volunteers who did a fantastic job clearing the drains and water courses, raking clear the fairways and assisting wherever possible.

The March monthly medal will be postponed again to a date yet to be determined and our next Saturday comp may well be the April monthly medal.

The funeral of long-time Ladies member Lois Olfen will be held tomorrow at the Anglican Church in Jamberoo commencing at 12 noon. Ladies are requested to wear their new club shirts.
