Heavy rains have meant the closure of the course this weekend, Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 of March.
There is no flood damage as such to the course but as with other sporting venues and events in the Illawarra the continuing heavy rain has caused the cancellation of events this weekend at least.
As of Saturday morning rain was predicted to begin clearing Monday and decisions about the opening of the course were to be made as the situation progressed.
