Beware crows are about

It has been reported by several sources that a ‘crow’ was spotted on the practice fairway last Wednesday. Apparently the alleged ‘crow’ was seen inspecting and pocketing two golf balls that were not his own before hitting the wrong ball towards the 10th green.  No harm was done except for the appropriate golfing penalties with both balls replaced.  Clearly a new set of glasses are required by the ‘crow GK’!

5 on the 18th

Many of us have scored a 5 on the 18th but a couple of unusual 5’s were scored there last Saturday. Steve O walked off the green and said, “it took me 5 to get on here”. He was quickly retorted by Tim C, ” it took me 5 to get off there” after an unfortunate 5 putt. Both had good rounds ruined !

March saw the most competition rounds played at Jamberoo since I began keeping records in 2013. Clearly the outstanding course conditions and pleasant weather have attracted us all to play on our beautiful course.

With the excellent Autumn weather and fine course conditions many good scores were recorded this week. Congratulations to all our winners.
