Warm weather greeted 69 ladies for the Ovarian Cancer Charity Day held on Tuesday 8th March. Ice was needed out on the course to keep the players cool but some hot scores were had.
Winners on the day were L. Stassen, E. Armstrong & C. Hansen with 59 5/6 nett
Second Place went to M. Farrant, S, Lang & L. Cram with 64 1/6 nett
Third Place went to J. McGuffie, M. Fitzgerald & R. Flood with 65 nett
Straightest Drive winners were M. Cook, M. Simmons, & M. Trethowan
Longest Drive winners were K. Mulligan, C. Hansen & L. Bell
The special “Swimmer of the Meet” prize went to Margaret Cook for not ONCE but TWICE swimming in our hazards.
Major winner of the raffle prize of the Calloway golf bag was Bronwyn Tory from Kiama.
Proceeds from the event will be sent to Ovarian Cancer Australia. The final total will be tallied soon.
