Barry Walker died on Sunday aged 76, after a heroic battle against Cancer, beating all the doctors predictions.
Barry and his wife Lyn have been active members. Barry was President for 2 years and a member of the Veterans Golf Committee for many years. We can all see that mischievous face and big grin announcing your tee times. Barry was always out there helping clean ups etc, and was just recently seen with paint brush in hand painting.
He was also a member of the Jamberoo Tennis Club. He was recently made a life member of the Xanadu Vets Tennis Club.
A regular attendee at the Jamberoo Anglican Church, he was also on the Parish Council and raised funds for the Kiama Board for Employing Christian Education Teachers.
We miss you Barry.
Barry’s funeral is to be held at the Kiama Anglican Church on Friday Sept 4 at 11am.
