When will the wind let up?
It started with the Jamberoo Men’s Open, then the Tuesday Ladies competition and now Wednesday’s Drummond Golf Stableford.
The best score Wednesday was 36 points and only one player from A or B grade managed to get 30 points. Well done to Rob Mitchell and Pat Lawrence for their great rounds on a very difficult day. Rob wins the Drummond Golf $50 voucher on a countback. Maybe he can spend it at their new location in Shellharbour?
The DSR was 70 which is 4 over our Blue Course rating of 66. The same rating was achieved in the Jamberoo Open.
Maybe we should feel like Evel Knievel who said “I love the feeling of the fresh air on my face and the wind blowing through my hair”.
Have you checked out the name of our holes?
Recently I asked our members to come up with some names to give our holes. Of course I received several that can’t be written down in polite society but some others were very good and so I collated them and came up with a hole name for each of our holes. If you look in the HOLE SPONSOR Tab on the Jamberoo Golf Club home page you will see the hole names along with our hole sponsors.
