Congratulations to two of our members for their fine achievements on the course.
In Saturday 25th of July’s comp Matt Tedeschi fired his driver on the second hole all the way to the green to about 1 metre from the hole. Matt then confidently struck his putt into the hole to record an eagle. Apart from great memories Matt will receive a special prize of a sleeve of balls from the club for his effort.
Playing in Sunday’s Jamberoo Open Scott Hainsworth achieved every golfer’s dream when he hit a perfectly struck 7 iron into the hole on the 11th hole for an ace. Interestingly Scott used a ball numbered 11 to record his first ace. It has been a great year for Scott as he was also an important member of the successful White Horse Cup team. Scott will have his ball mounted as a special memento of his hole-in-one as well as receive 6 golf balls for his efforts.
