What a year 2015 has been.
Jamberoo ladies have won the Gold Pennant to add to the White Horse Cup won by the men earlier this year to complete the greatest Pennant season in club history.
Only one other pennant has been achieved by Jamberoo ladies and that was in 1989, so this is a very special accomplishment.
The Gold Pennant is the highest WGI award that can be won by a club.
The winning margin was 6 points but the last game was very tense with second placed St Georges Basin still in with a chance.
The winning team was: Lynne Beringer; Dell Brand; Kay Brennan; Marie Farrant; Linda McGlinchey; Judi O’Brien; Trish Orgill; Margaret Stephens; Shirley Walsh; Marilyn Wright.
