Congratulations to our new champions and well played to all of our courageous competitors.

Jordan Widdicombe on Fire
The overnight rain certainly softened the course but it did nothing to quell the scoring in Wednesday’s Stableford comp.
Congratulations go to Jordan Widdicombe, playing off scratch, who managed 43 points on the day to win ‘A’ division. This equates to a 60 off the stick and included an eagle 2 at the 2nd hole. This fine round continues Jordan’s magnificent recent form where he has placed 2nd in both the Jamberoo and Shoalhaven Heads Opens each time firing one over par rounds only to lose by the single shot. Well played Jordan. James Thompson, 42 points, Lew Dare, 41 points, and Bruce Byers, 40 points were also hot on the day but could only sit back and applaud young Jordan’s great round.
Alan Thrower, in ‘B’ division the same day, scored an incredible 48 points on his own. This time Al went on with the job after several recent near misses. Great play Al.
Turner goes Low
As we all get older one question still beckons us on the golf course. Can we break our age? It is a very rare thing to achieve but John Turner has that answer with his fine round on the 9th of August. Great play John.
