A unique and generous opportunity.

Dear Jamberoo Members/Volunteers,

We have a unique and generous opportunity before us extended by Mr Gareth Ward.

Mr Ward has graciously invited all Jamberoo Members to a Luncheon at Parliament House on September 18th commencing at 11am.

This invitation is not just a chance to enjoy a memorable day, but also a gesture of goodwill and support for Mr Ward who recently toured Jamberoo Golf Course to inspect the damage and offer his assistance.

Mr Ward already has taken the initiative a step further by writing favourably to the NSW Minister of Sport supporting our case for Grants inspired by the Volunteer spirit which he experienced at Jamberoo.

Unfortunately, our response to his generous offer has been underwhelming.

As a club that prides itself on community spirit and mutual respect, I believe we must reciprocate in a positive gesture to Mr Ward.

Sylvia Karschies (0433764048) has offered her assistance and together with Phil Thompson are coordinating the numbers. Please advise of your participation by Friday 9/8/24 so we can advise Mr Wards Office of numbers for Parliament House catering.

The suggestion is as the Train leaves Kiama at 8.27am jump on at your convenience, be it Oak flats, Dapto, or Warrawong to arrive at Martin Place Station (without alighting) straight to the Reserve Bank opposite Parliament House. This train arrives at a convenient 10.30 am.

Looking forward to some laughs and political jokes on the train.

Regards, Col.
