JGC TURNS PINK FOR BREAST CANCER

Jamberoo Lady Golfers held their Annual Tee Off for Breast CancerDay on 16th July. A total of 93 ladies played with visitors from Bowral, Gerringong, Kiama, Moss Vale, Port Kembla, The Grange, The Links Shell Cove and St.Georges Basin. EVERYONE WORE PINK.

John Duncan, Course Superintendent painted Breast Cancer logos on the course and  a pink straight line down the 6th fairway. We also had our pink flags on the greens.

Many thanks to all our Jamberoo Lady Golfers for their generous donations of over  50 prizes.  Also donations for three Hampers for the raffle, and for supplying their famous slices and cakes.

Betty Chittick our lady Treasurer said the event raised a record $1906 which will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
