Jamberoo Mens Championships

The Mens Championships commence next Saturday 5th of August and is a 72 hole tournament with round 2 played on Sunday 6th August, round 3 on Saturday 12th and the final round on Sunday August 13.

The booking page for next Sunday is now completely open and all early tee slots are available.

Apparently the early tee times were blocked when the sheet became live and this error has now been rectified. Those members wishing a tee time from 7am may delete the later time and rebook at their preferred early slot.

Championship Conditions of Play

A Grade        Plus – 15      GROSS & NETT WINNERS

B Grade        16 – 21         GROSS & NETT WINNERS

C Grade        22 – 45         GROSS & NETT WINNERS       

ENTRY FEE:  $20 PER ROUND

DRAW FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS:        

ROUNDS  1 & 2 & 3 – PLACE NAME ON TIMESHEET through OURGOLF (including non – championship players). Round 4 enter as usual but be aware of the seeded draw.

ROUND 4 – top 4 gross in each grade WILL BE SEEDED. THIS DRAW WILL BE DONE AT COMPLETION OF PLAY ON SATURDAY.

  • PLAYING HANDICAP APPLICABLE ON THE FIRST DAY OF PLAY WILL APPLY TO THE NETT SCORES FOR THE COMPLETE CHAMPIONSHIPS. Correct daily playing handicaps will be used for daily competitions.
  • IN THE EVENT OF A TIE FOR CLUB CHAMPION, FOR ALL GRADES, A SUDDEN DEATH PLAY-OFF WILL OCCUR OVER HOLES 1 AND 18 UNTIL A RESULT IS ACHIEVED. If a player returns a score that may qualify for play-off, they should remain in the clubhouse or surrounds. All other events other than “Club Champion” will be decided by countback. 
  • PLAYERS SHALL START AT THE TIME LAID DOWN BY THE COMMITTEE. If a player arrives at the starting point, ready to play, within 5 minutes after their starting time, in the absence of circumstances which warrant waiving the penalty of disqualification, a penalty of 2 strokes at the first hole shall be given. (See Rule 5.3a) 
  • PLAY MAY BE STOPPED AT ANY TIME DURING THE CHAMPIONSHIPS if the course conditions deteriorate due to heavy rain, storms, lightning, water over greens or a COVID-19 contact. Players who feel the conditions warrant coming to the clubhouse, should mark their ball where they played their last shot and proceed to the clubhouse.   The Course Superintendent or Match Committee will then adjudicate on whether play will be suspended, resumed or abandoned.

                     THE MATCH COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER CONDITIONS OF PLAY
