Rep News May 8

Veterans News

The second round of the Veterans inter club competition, the Trevor Bell Memorial Shield, was held at The Links Shell Cove on Monday 8 May.

The day was very cold and very windy which resulted in much lower scores than round one at Kiama last month. Jamberoo’s team came in equal third on the day with Wollongong GC and behind The Links and Port Kembla. The aggregate score for the two rounds puts Jamberoo in third place but the margin to the leader is now 21 points and 2 points behind 2nd place. Balls were won by Mal Hoy and Ian Unsworth.

The next round will be held at Jamberoo on Thurs 8 June.

Thanks to the eight players who played and put up with such poor conditions.

A great effort for both teams, especially in this cold windy weather.
