News from the Course – 22 April

Remember that Tuesday is Anzac Day with a Medley Stableford as the comp of the day. Bookings are available for all members. Before your round all members are requested to observe a minutes silence in honour of those who have fallen in service to their country.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
we will remember them.

WGI Pennant Results from Last Monday

Commiserations to the Gold Pennants team on their close loss yesterday.

April Van Woerkom – lost 2 down

Elizabeth Armstrong – won 6/5

Judi O’Brien loss 1 down

Pam Middlebrook lost 4/3

Marie Farrant won 2/1

The loss meant that Jamberoo lost a close battle for the pennant, finishing 3rd.

Well done to the Silver pennants winning 3 ½ to 1 ½.

Lynne Beringer won 2/1

Shirley Walsh won 1 up

Margaret Cook lost 5/3

Silver are coming equal 2nd.

Well done to the Bronze team winning 3/0.

Sue Paul won on forfeit

The bronze team is in equal 2nd place as well.

Good luck to both the Silver and Bronze teams on Monday.

No separate Women’s competition this Tuesday.
