Preferred Lies to remain in place.

With the current damp conditions it has been decided to continue with preferred lies until the end of April. This should give the damaged areas more time to recover.

You are reminded to please repair divots and to use your sand bucket often.

Golf is a great game to learn and something you will enjoy for a lifetime.

Its about FUN with your friends.

Valuable life skills are gained playing the sport that will not only assist on the course but also in everyday life.  As a sport, Golf focuses on specific skills including respect, being fair and a good sport and perseverance.

GAMES – we believe in learning through fun, team-based and inclusive activities which allow for skill repetition and progression.

The essence of the sport for juniors is to enjoy it while learning to develop proficiency along the way.

It is important from the outset, regardless of age or ability, to realise that golf is simple and easy to understand.

Golf is a game for everyone. It provides friendships, experiences, and lessons for life.

Golf is about plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and time away from the mobile phone or the computer screen. Golf helps develop the social skills you will need to succeed in life.

If you are a junior aged between 12 and 17 then please come along and begin your golfing journey.

Date: Thursday 20 April
Time: 8.45 am to 12.30 pm. Meet at the golfshop.
Lunch and drinks and equipment supplied.
Come join your fellow junior golfers for a fun day which includes group golf lessons, questions on rules of golf and a few holes of golf.
No problems with your golfing ability as all standards are catered for.
