It was hot and humid but 139 members and visitors enjoyed the day in rememberance of our lost friends. $270 was donated through the sausage sizzle and $556 donated via the green fees to be spent on purchasing and erecting some new course seating. The families of our lost comrades can then put plaques on these chairs to remember their loved one.
The competition was hot and the two sectional starts allowed us to give AM and PM prizes as well as overall Gross and Nett winners. A ‘Bradman’s’ Trophy was also awarded to the team who came first at the other end.
Nett winners D Ransom, S Oppert, D Oppert & A Ransom 51 nett
Gross winners C Owers, T Lowe, B McGlinchey & R Chilby 57
AM winners V Byrnes, A Ball, D Garcia & R Bottom 53 nett
PM winners M Rodgers, P Rodgers, J Spears & K Lardner 53.5 nett
Bradman’s Trophy J Brand, D Brand, A Wight & M Cook 62.125 nett

GOLFNSW/Illawarra Pennants commence tomorrow with the C Pennant and the WHC Magpies playing their first round matches.
Play well and good luck.
Well done Col. Must have been an omen. Col finished his golf, then attended the Kiama Show to assist with THE GOLDEN BOOT. Footgolf Jamberoo held an event and it had lots of participants, which meant lots of cheering by the crowd as they watched their player. Thanks Col
