I am very disappointed that we have been unable to play golf for several weeks (through no fault of the club) and then you increase membership.
I used to be a member of the Links and during covid I was unable to play due to the border between Shellharbour and Kiama being closed. The Links suspended membership for the period we could not play. I thought Jamberoo would do something similar as we have had no benefit by being a member during the closure.
Phil, I have passed your comment onto the club secretary who will have it discussed at the next BOD meeting.
I must add that the Links is fully funded from council rate payers and does not have to pay course costs and wages and all the other expenses for running a golf club.
Jamberoo also was the only club that returned fees to players who were unable to attend the club due to the Covid lockdown exclusions.
