News From the Course – 8th July

Looking After Your Course

It is your course so please help look after it.

When you are on the green look for and repair your pitch mark. If time permits fix a few more.

In the fairway and rough replace your divot and fill it with sand. If you find any more fix them as well. Try and use at least two buckets full per nine. Do the same on the tees.

Simple measures to make the course better for all.

In practice rounds only hit two balls to the green. There is a practice range for multiple hits. Use this if you want to improve your swing or get help from Jim Butt, our pro, who is always available to improve your game. Ring him to book a lesson, it will be well worth your while.

New Champion Crowned

Congratulations go to Jenelle Anderson for her outstanding achievement in winning the Lady Veterans Championship last week.

Jenelle was extremely excited by her win and wished to thank all her fellow competitors and the course staff for the excellent presentation of the course.
