Steve Rippon, excellent cart supervisor, is an excellent golfer as well.
In the March monthly medal Steve fired a fantastic 66 off the stick, including an eagle on the par 5 12th hole, where he managed to hit his 5 wood second shot onto the green.
Bogies on the last 2 holes cost Steve a chance of a new course record.
A great performance

Jamberoo Veterans,“ WEEK of GOLF “at Wellington, N.S.W, 9th to 16th March, 2013.
27 members travelled to Wellington for the annual week of golf (where we have reciprocal rights).
This has been a feature of the Vet Golfers and their caravans for well over 20 years.
Due to recent rain the course was in excellent condition, but a little heavy underfoot, the weather was fine and very hot.
Winners of the Green Jackets were Lorraine Cram (for the third time! ) & John Edwards.
The nightly barbecues were well attended with John Childs providing the music & directing the singing.
The week was topped off by a great dinner at the golf club.
Congratulations to President Barry Walker, Col Shean ( member of the original caravan group),
John Childs & Stewie Potter for organizing a most enjoyable week.
