Links Shell Cove member Barry Chin was the A Grade Nett Winner
FORMER junior champion Martin Francis has won the 2012 Drummond Golf Jamberoo Open after shooting a 1-over 68 in difficult scoring conditions.

With gusty winds and softish conditions underfoot providing little run, none one managed to break par on the tight Jamberoo Golf Club layout. The course record remains at 2-under.

Francis, now a member of Wauchope Golf Club, was the Jamberoo Junior Champion in 2003 and 2004.

He beat Jason Cavanagh of Russell Vale by two strokes, decided on a count-back.

More than 50 golfers from clubs across the state took part in the event, with entrants coming from Wauchope, Cooma, Howlong, Glenmore, Shoalhaven Heads, Shell Cove, Port Kembla, The Grange, Russell Vale, and Kiama as well as local Jamberoo members.

The overall Nett Winner was Jamberoo member Jarrod Gehrmann with  62 (c/b).
