A very busy week at the course with all competitions well-supported by the members despite the frigid wintry weather. It was very pleasing to see the number of visitors to our course as well and a warm welcome is extended to these players. We hope you enjoyed your day at the beautiful Jamberoo course and we hope to see you again soon.
It was wonderful to see the frowns on Greg Seymour’s and John Ellsmore’s faces turn to smiles when they discovered that they had won Wednesday’s team event and commiserations go out to Tom Zimmermann who was beaten on a countback in the monthly medal by the last competitor in the field. Well done, Anthony!
Michael Sheridan maintained his good recent form with another win on Wednesday and in the Ladies Jenelle Anderson is showing consistent winning form again being successful on Tuesday. The same can be said for Sue Paul as well.
Geoff Boxsell has made it three in a row with his latest monthly medal and if he keeps this up we might not need to run the D Grade gold medal in November. Geoff will be the only competitor!

Upcoming Events
A busy time in the calendar is approaching with Open events and Club Foursomes Championships.
- Don’t forget to enter the Jamberoo Open to be played on July 24. There are over $700 of prizes on offer. Entry sheets are available in the shop.
- The Mixed Open is also due to be played on the 31st of July so get your partner organised and put your name on the list. The format of the event is Canadian Foursomes.
- Some advanced notice for the Mixed, Men’s and Ladies Foursomes championships that are due to be played in August. Look out for the notices to these important club events. The mixed is to be held on Sunday 8th August; the Men’s on Sunday 21 August and the Ladies on Tuesday 23 August.
We wish all competitors in the Lady Veteran Championships good luck and hope that a good time is had by all.
