Thanks to all those members who responded to the survey. It seems clear that the recommendation “keep the same format but make prizes of the same value for each grade” is the most popular choice gaining 82% of the vote. We will therefore change the prize schedule, from Wednesday 02-12-2015’s comp, to reflect this verdict.
You can see the new schedule in a link in a preceding article or below. Note first prize is now $35 in each grade, but you need 10+ players to make a unique grade. If one grade has insufficient entries then it joins with the next grade. For instance in this situation A grade would join with B grade, or D grade would join with C Grade.

The minority opinion that we change the grades cut-off points to even up the grades will also be given serious consideration.
