A strong field has entered the 2015 Jamberoo Open to be held this Sunday 26th of July with last-minute entries now being taken.
Local hopes Adrian and Jarrod Gehrmann, Steve Rippon, Adrian Bell and Pete Munro will be up against several past winners and club champions from amongst our visitors, so a very keenly contested Open is anticipated where a winning score under par may well be necessary.
The Jamberoo Open is part of the Illawarra Open Series and is proudly supported by major sponsor, Drummond Golf Warrawong (soon to be re-located to Shellharbour in early August) and Fredericks IGA.
This year if a tie occurs a 4 hole playoff will be used for the first time to determine the winner. Holes 1-4 have been designated as the playoff holes. If a winner is still not found after this then “sudden death” will commence on the 5th. If you find yourself in a possible winning position and you leave the course, then a contact phone number should be left with the starter just in case.
The draw will be published on the 22nd of July in the Daily Cow. Copies will be left with the starter (42360404) and the office (42360291). Late entries will be accepted but preferred starting times for these players can’t be guaranteed.
