Some updates of our Jamberoo Teams
THE BRONZE MEDALLION.
This Annual NSW Golf event was played yesterday at Pymble and Monash GCs. Our Jamberoo Women performed very well. The Team of Lyn Kuskey, Gail Rutledge, Jenny Strong and Lidia Waine (pictured below) came 12th overall in this Team event out of 32 teams. Individually, Jenny had the best score coming in 18th out of a field of 64. The home team of Pymble once again won this prestigious event.
WGI TEAM CHALLENGE.
The annual WGI Team Challenge was played last Monday at The Links Shellcove.
Jamberoo were defending their title. Five teams were entered, the most from any single Club. Unfortunately, it was not to be this year. However, Jamberoo were in the winning circle.
Division 1 – The Team of April Van Woerkom, Liz Armstrong, Linda McGlinchey & Marie Farrant won a ball each.
Division 3 – The Team of Marie Smith, Barbara Costello, Lidia Waine and Rhonda McKinley had 61.1 nett came second by 0.1!
3rd Place Team was Lyn Kuskey, Lorraine Southwell, Gail Rutledge and Helen Wainwright.
WOOLOOWARE VISIT.
Yesterday on our course we had the pleasure of hosting visiting players from Woolooware. The ladies came and played in our competition while their home greens were being cored. Thank you to all our members who helped to make this day memorable for the Woolooware Club.
