News from the Course

Dulcie Piper celebrates her 89th birthday with her friends at the club.

A great day at the club today for long standing member Dulcie Piper who celebrated being 89 years young with 18 holes of golf in today’s competition with her friends at the club.

Many of Dulcie’s friends, and husband Ray, turned up after golf for the birthday bash with a joyous chorus of “Happy Birthday” ringing out from the club.

A good time was had by all celebrating Dulcie’s important milestone.

Dulcie feels that this will be her last game of golf but I am sure that we will see her every Tuesday and the monthly Vets day for the après golf luncheons.

Many happy returns Dulcie.

In the individual competition Craig Foster came second on a C/B with 37 points and Warren Joannou collected a ball with 34 points.
