Aces Galore.
What a special day it was today with the very unusual occurence of two aces on the same hole in the same competition.
The 7th hole!
First in was Toby Bartle who claims he “did not see it go in”. Well I hope he was surprised to see it in the hole. Toby had a near miss not so long ago when the ball went into the hole only to rebound out off the rim of the cup.
Today it was different and better! Toby’s first ace.
Great shot Toby.
An hour later it was Chris Leckey’s turn to knock it in.
This was Chris’ third ace and his second on the 7th.
To make it better Chris also won today’s stableford with 37 points, one better than second place!

A special shot to remember.

Both Toby and Chris receive 6 balls in recognition of their wonderful achievement, entry onto the Club’s hole-in-one Board and a special prize from GolfNSW as well as having the successful ball mounted onto a permanent trophy.
Congratulations to both gentlemen.
