Golf is the winner at Jamberoo.
A large field contested a Canadian Foursomes today and judging by comments much fun was had despite the poor golfing form of some partners!
The winners were Andrew Ball and David Garcia with nett 68.875, closely followed by Phil Hellmund and Bruce Byers on 69.25. Third place went to the wily pair of Ray Sheehan and Wayne Griffiths with 70.25.
In other news from the course, Ken Bradley mastered the ‘super shot’ on the 13th to win $88 with a shot to 196 cm and Luke Oborn has taken out the ‘Eagles Nest’ on the 3rd with a shot to 100cm. 12 balls from sponsor, Oaks Automotive, is his reward for swooping the prize with a great shot.
Liz Armstrong has also requested that a big thankyou go out to the person who returned her lost club today. Well done to one of our members!
The Champagne 9 competition continues to grow and results of participants are getting better exponentially! Looking forward to seeing you all next Saturday as well.
Next Saturday we return to a monthly medal round, the first in quite a while. Don’t forget to count your putts as well. [For those who don’t like stroke rounds, a medley stableford can be played as an alternative].

After a period of almost 10 years, the family business was registered as DP Electric Australia Pty Ltd.
