Sad tidings today as life member Ian Boles passed away in hospital after a short illness.
Ian was a driving force behind the formation of the Veterans at Jamberoo and will be sadly missed by his many friends at Jamberoo.
Our deepest condolences go out to Robyn and their family.

I remember when I first joined the Vets how helpful and friendly Ian was and how much I looked forward to the ‘road trips’ he use to organise to other golf clubs.

Ian also served five years as a Director of the Golf Club- from 1999 to 2004. He also was the Tournament Director of Jamberoo’s two days of the annual Jamberoo Kiama Veterans Week of Golf held in November each year up until about 2014. Since Ian retired from that job, Jamberoo – Kiama is now a single week of golf with a single Tournament Director.
