This Saturday the Mens March Monthly Medal will be contested. Women will also play a stroke round.

For those not keen on a stroke round, a medley stableford will be held.

Please don’t forget to count your putts.

Women’s Silver Pennants

Today at Kiama,  Jamberoo Silver played Worrigee Links and recorded a good win 3.5 to 1.5.

Shirley Dixon won  4/2

Jo Burke  won 6/4

Lyn Kuskey. Squared

Lisa Bell. Won 2/1

Gail Rutledge lost.

We found the course to be in good order considering the amount of rain we have had, the greens staff had been very busy getting the course ready for play.

Shirley had a good game coming home with a 4/2 win.

Jo really took it to her opponent winning 6/4

Lyn fought all the way to end up square.

Lisa took her opponent to the 17th to win 2/1

Gail put up a great fight to unfortunately go down.

A great game by all players. This puts Jamberoo in the lead of Silver B with 3 points.

Let’s keep it going.

Lyn Kuskey (captain)

Gold Pennant

Unfortunately Gerringong is still closed and the match today was not played.

Bronze Pennant

Bronze ‘B’ Pennant team were finally able to play a round at Kiama on Monday, with the first two rounds scheduled washed out.

We have a number of new players this year and it was the first appearance for Wendy Unsworth and Barb Costello.

Unfortunately we were unsuccessful on the day but all put in a fantastic effort, going down 2-1 with the following results.

Wendy Unsworth won 4/3

Barb Costello lost 4/2

Sue Paul lost 3/1

Looking forward to our next round at Vincentia on the 28th.
