Congratulations to the 40 hardy golfers who competed in the 2019 Mixed Open. The weather at the start was threatening and it looked like everybody was going to get a good drenching. Somehow the rain stayed in the clouds and a very enjoyable day was had by all.
Given the damp conditions the scoring was outstanding in the Canadian Foursomes format of the day.
Best score of the day was recorded by Port Kembla golfers Roslyn and Steve Wicks with a 75. Ros and Steve are crowned the new Jamberoo Mixed Open Champions.
The best nett score was recorded by Jamberoo’s own Liz Armstrong and Arthur Bosanquet with 67.5

After the round the players enjoyed a light meal with a plethora of salads and delicious scones and slices. A big thank you to all those who contributed a plate to the occasion.
