Pennant Results 4 March WHC div 1

Some members have enquired about who actually won matches in the White Horse Cup division 1 match last Sunday at Moss Vale. In this match the Cowpats jumped from third spot to division winners with their big win over the previously unbeaten St George’s Basin side. Achieving this result they also needed Sussex Inlet to be held by Bowral to 3.5 games or less. Bowral managed to draw their match 3-3 meaning the Cowpats were through to this year’s semi-finals against Highlands to be played at Wollongong on Sunday 18th March.

Here is how each match resulted.

Peter Francis won 5/4, Chris Goodwin won 2/1, Col Booth won 4/3, Dave Ransom won 2 up, Matt Tedeschi squared his match and Arthur Bosanquet squared his match with a near perfect chip shot down the slope after pumping his second shot over the flag and green on the 18th.
