Competition arrangements for Saturday March 2 – Monthly Medal postponed

DUE to the damage caused by the tornado that struck the course last Sunday, it has been necessary to postpone the monthly medal that was due to be played this Saturday, the 2nd of March. The monthly medal has been rescheduled for Saturday 16th of March.

This Saturday we will play a single par event over the 12 holes available, namely 1 -11, and 18. The cost will be $10 per player, $2 for the super shot on the 7th, and carts will cost $15 for the round. There will be nearest the pins on the third (‘”A”), ninth (“C” and Ladies)  and 11th (“B”) holes.

We are hoping to have the full course available by the 9th of March.

WORKING BEE Thursday 21st June

There will be another working bee at the Jamberoo Golf Club from 8.30am to 12 noon on Thursday, 21st June.

Great fun was had by all the happy campers at the recent highly successful working bee and now you can join the joyful throng.

Remember, all this is totally free entertainment – and you get to do some good for the club.

A major emphasis will be laying new matting on the bridges. Bring a garden broom if you have one. And don’t forget your party hat – or maybe just a sensible sun hat.

Speak to Lieve Strassen for details – or just turn up on the day.

Working Bees

A BIG THANKS to all those who attended our recent Working Bees.

Two bridges got covered in matting and one was reglued down. Luckily we had beautiful weather to complete these tasks on the days.

Quite a few little fix it and bit fix it jobs and some work i.e cleaning up, painting and gardening around the entrance and 1st Tee also got done.

It was a great team effort. We appreciate your time, skills and effort.

P.S   We will be continuing with the covering of the bridges and thus will be organising another working bee shortly.

HAPPY AND GOOD GOLFING
