Its time for a change!
It is with a mix of pride and some regret that I announce my retirement from the Board of Directors and as Captain of Jamberoo Golf Club.
It has been a privilege to serve in these roles over a number of years, and I have greatly valued the support, friendships, and shared passion for our Club during that time. However, I feel the time is right to step aside and allow new leadership to take us forward. The sands in my hourglass are almost gone.
I am very pleased to welcome Matthew Ross as our new Captain.
Matt brings with him strong computer skills, excellent golfing ability, sound judgement, and a genuine commitment to the Club. I have every confidence that he will do an excellent job in leading Jamberoo Golf Club into the future.
I ask that all members extend to him their full support and respect as you gave me as he takes on this important position.
This will be my last article for the Daily Cow. Many thanks to all who have read and contributed over the years.
The position of editor is now open—consider it a bit like a Saturday tee time … best get in early before someone else snaps it up.
Many thanks for your tremendous input into the club over many years Dave. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed in that time. Congratulations to you Matt in the new role.
