Jamberoo Golf Club acknowledges Kiama Council’s celebration of International Women’s Day and the recognition of women’s leadership across our community. The women of Jamberoo play a vital role in the life of our club — as leaders, volunteers, competitors and custodians of our village‑club spirit. We thank them for their strength, contribution and the example they set for all of us.

At a time when women continue to be under-represented in leadership roles across local government, Kiama Council stands out for its difference and diversity. Kiama LGA is fortunate to have 5 strong female councillors out of a total of 9 and the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s region’s only female local government CEO Jane Stroud. Kiama Council is a bronze sponsor of the Illawarra International Women’s Day luncheon 2026 which will be held tomorrow (6 March) with guest speaker Dr Jana Pittman. |

I try to book in for Wednesday comp on Sunday night but when I open it at 6 pm it’s already booked. When do you open the booking for the Wednesday so I can get the time I want?
I have noticed that some of the booking sheets for special events like next Wednesday and the following Wednesday (the one you were trying to book into) had a 14 day window instead of the usual 10 day window that is normal for most events.
Today I have spent several hours correcting the booking pages for the rest of the year.
All booking templates are now updated to 10 days so this problem should not occur in the future.
The different times have made some members confused so I think having a common time frame is best. I have used the 10 day as this is what members are now using.
I have left a message on the booking pages informing everybody about the change. It will take place from March 20.
Unfortunately it was too late to change the day you required.
