News from the Course – Wednesday

Saturday Super Heroes Charity Day.

A bumper field has enrolled in this Saturday’s event with all but one hole being used.

Please be at the club well before the 8am shotgun start to help facilitate the registration process.

Bring plenty of change as several valuable items will be up for grabs in the raffle. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5.

There will be 4 nearest the pin holes as well as the Eagles Nest.

Nearest the pins on the 3rd (eagles nest – shots inside 150 cm), 7th for C Grade, 7th for Women, 9th for B Grade, and the 13th for A graders.

At the conclusion of the round some presentations will be made to the 4 nearest the pin winners, the announcement of the winning teams and a short presentation to the Mens 2025 major trophy winners as well. The Mens Pennant shirts will also be presented.

A sausage sizzle will also be held, for a cost of $4, with all money raised going towards the Children’s Cancer Institute.

With the new furniture it may well be crowded on the verandah so please grab a chair and enjoy the day with a drink.

With such a large field and with the capacity field it probably will be an extended day on the course so please be patient and remember good golfing etiquette. Please be aware that people will be walking in from their concluding hole.

May everybody have a fun day for the little super heroes.

  1. Alan also held a remarkable distinction: 16 holes-in-one across various courses, including Jamberoo. A feat that speaks to both his skill and his lifelong passion for golf.
    Rest in Peace
