The rain has unfortunately forced the cancelation of today’s event with water lying across greens and further rain expected.
Despite this setback, our departed members remain in our thoughts and are never forgotten.
With the course being closed at 6.15 am today and with the shotgun start scheduled to start at 6.45 for 7.30, it was very difficult to contact members individually with direct email access not being available at the present time. Currently the procedure is for members to ring the golf shop directly to confirm their withdrawal or to check on the status of the course. Those members who did so today are thanked.
Thanks also to those 6 dedicated members who drove to the course in the hope that the conditions at Jamberoo were playable. Sadly it wasn’t the case.
We also placed a notice on the booking page in the hope that members may have been able to find out the status of the course.
At present, I do not have access to publish articles in the Daily Cow while at the course, and as I was onsite from 6.15am, I was unable to inform members on the day. This is, however, an option we can utilise in the future. We are also investigating the ability to communicate directly with members via email through MiScore and MiGolf.
Today’s washout was unfortunate but you cannot control the weather.
The Mens Presentation Day was also postponed and will now take place on Saturday January 31 in conjunction with the Cancer Super Heroes Charity Day for the Children’s Cancer Institute.

Thanks Dave. Appreciate it isn’t an easy task to assess the course and communicate the decision to members that early in the morning. I think today had an obvious outcome which is why many including myself chose not to inundate the shop with phone calls.
Greatly appreciated.
great rain. You can only do what you can do
good for farmers. Hope it drowns the flies!
