Each year, Jamberoo Golf Club honours its most consistent and accomplished players through the presentation of the Gold Medal in each grade — one of the most prestigious awards in the club’s calendar.
🥇 The Path to the Playoff
From November 2024 through October 2025, monthly medalists in each grade earn their place in the Gold Medal Playoff, where determination and skill are tested under championship conditions.
⛳ Gold Medal Day – November 1
On Gold Medal Day, the competitor recording the best nett score in each grade will be declared that grade’s Gold Medal Winner.
Finalists will compete in the grade(s) in which they achieved their monthly medal victory, playing off their current handicap.
🌟 A Rare Achievement
It is possible for a player to secure multiple Gold Medals if they have triumphed in more than one grade during the qualifying year — an exceptional accomplishment that reflects both talent and perseverance.

2025 Mens Golden Putter Playoff
The 12 putting comp winners from each of the 12 monthly medals played from November 2024 to October 2025 have the chance to become the 2025 Golden Putter.
The finalist with the least number of putts on the Gold Medal Round will be crowned the 2025 Golden Putter.

Chris Leckey Scores Another Ace.
Congratulations to Chris Leckey for his hole-in-one last Saturday on the 13th hole. Using a 9 iron, Chris was delighted to add another ace to his collection, now numbering 4.
Chris will have his name added to the Hole-In-One Honour Board, receive 6 balls from the club as a reward and will have his successful golf ball mounted onto a permanent trophy to recognise the perfect shot.
2025 has seen 5 hole-in-ones recorded with two in October.
