News from the Course

Vale Stuart Potter.

It is with sad tidings that I inform the membership of the passing of Stuart Potter last night.

Stuart was a popular member with many friends and had a distinguished career at the club as Vice-Captain and Board Member. Renowned for his sense of humour and commitment to the members of the club he will be sadly missed.

Stuart had suffered in the last months of his life being in and out of hospital and in the end it was God’s blessing that he passed away peacefully.

More details of funeral arrangements will be given as they come to hand.

He is now with his beloved Margaret.

Lost and Found.

A valuable ring was found at the club today. If you are missing this item then please contact the club office to re-claim it.

  1. Stu was a lovely man..A GENTLEMAN on and off the golf course. Always put his hand up to assist with BBQ’s at the club when required….Loved his travelling around with his golfing veterans to regular courses every year..Will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family and many, many friends..R.I.P.
